Kicked == Banned?

Ok, I'm slightly confused.

Short story:
I was kick-voted on a server, and now when I attempt to join I get the "You have been banned" message, is this supposed to happen? =\

Long story:
A bunch of idiots the <<oa>> clan members (who are they anyway?), accused me of being a "hacker", which I thought was quite funny, if you check my stats.
I thought it was cute, first time I'd been accused of hacking, I was slightly honoured although I didn't think I was doing that well, 10 - 1 in the J10 on Wake, not hard to be honest.
So the noobs start kick-voting me over and over and over and over and over...it then became not funny as it just dragged on with them spamming chat, as such:

Anyhows, they finally got all of their team and then somehow half of my team to kick-vote me out of the server, oh well I think, I've lost my J10, but I'll go back on and have some fun.

Erm, apparently not, it seems I'm banned I get the "You have been banned" message.

What I want to know is does this normally happen? Does one normally get banned from a kick-vote?
Also I'm shocked that the player kick-vote system actually worked.

Also if anyone knows of this <<oa>> clan, do they have a server if so who is up for some kidnapping of their members? Revenge is fun.

Its Oa or Over armed. they are the biggest bunch of dicks going. Not quite near TOP level but like that. They have 1 or 2 hackers and alot of them glitch. They use their server almost for padding.

Surgeon_Bond, the server has no admins, that's why I posted, I was a little confused.

Fearmesnipers, it makes sense they are all a bunch of dicks, I think I'm going to have to find their server...

find their vent and set ur phoentic to ][][[][][][][][]][][][]][]]][ and keep changing channels and disconnecting and reconnecting... i do it to any server that kicks/bans me for some stupid reason (like i get kicked because some fuck makes me force tk) and thye do shit about it

Was that EA UK Rackage Wake? I recognize the General guy, he is always moaning along with usmcasa2 and they try to kick people, the kick lasts until next round, you wont get banned permanently because there is never any admins on. Ever.

^^That is if its the server I'm talking about

EDIT: and if you want to kidnap them at some point just ask.

I've also played on that server quite a lot (and seen you SFV guys around), and the <<oa>> clan are pathetic little preteens. I only ever hear from them throwing cheat accusations and trying to teamkill for vehicles / generally grief the game. They fail at it miserably.

I'd be up for a kidnap.

Apparently, I'm not banned banned. Although I still think it is weird that I got the "You have been banned message"? Is it an automatic 1 round ban or something?

thing is they were chucked out of TWL i think for hacking and cheating. They also had their server closed for glitching or something along the lines of it.

lol page down for a cookie... but on a more serious note yeah when you get kicked from a server usually its until a new round starts or in Gamarena's case in AUS its for 1 second lol so if you cant get back on then it might be that the admin has banned you which you should find quite funny if he think your h4xz0r too .

The problem is your continual (group) attitude and conduct that's clearly doing you guys no favors. I'm pretty laid back and cool with anybody in game- but you guys are an exception. Always talking trash- I'm surprised you even find time to stat-pad up a few points... all you seem to do is ramble on over the chat.

And blargh to the "Just try and get revenge on [insert name here], they'll hack you / own you lolol" sorta comments. Heard that line all too many times before.
