Ok, since I'm upgrading my computer over the summer...I have decided to get a new case to fit all the new componants. I'm right now looking at the Thermaltake Armor and the Antec 900 Gaming Case. Now, could you all suggest a really good case with some cool LEDs in them so I can see inside? I'm still looking but I want some opinions on which case out there is best.

thanks in advance

Gigabyte Aurora? Those things are freaking huge. Black | Silver

Strange... That's what I pay in AU$ and everything over here is expensive

* Antec Performance One P180B - $129.99

Over here: $209. That's more like it. And here I was considering one myself

I'm looking at the Zero for my next full build. Best looking case to come along in a while.

Dude what u REALLY REALLY NEED is the Thermaltake Kandalf Black/Silver. It kicks arse and is
so pretty and everything
Downside - Black weighs like 20kg EMPTY (Its a huge heavy bitch of a beast) - but did i mention its pretty and looks cool??
Upside - Did I mention its pretty and looks cool? Oh and Silver is about 1/2 the weight of the Black.

Price is like AUD$300 for the Black and about AUD$350 for the Silver

Pretty Quiet for 4 fans, I theres a huge difference between low, med and high.

Low you can barely hear it, Med is strong enough to get a breeze going threw my room, and high sounds like a Jet taking off

I have it on med, but I could probably set them all too low and still not have any issues with over heating..

Ive got the Thermaltake Aguila. Its a midi case, so its pretty average. You cant lock the front though, which is a pity. The side window is cool, and black is the best. Downside is that the 'front' USB ports are on top, which kinda sucks since its going somewhere where I cant get to them. It can get loud, but normally its okayish. The back has a blue LED and the front doesnt have one, only for the power button thing.
I had to take my HDD rack out because of my 8800, but if you dont have an 8800 then its fine I think. The front fan collects heaps of dust though, but is still pretty good.
At Umart AUS, it goes for AUS$155 online price.

There are 3 settings on it, like I said before..

Low is really queit, Med is no louder then any other Gaming Case I've seen, and High is pretty loud, but it also pumps out alot of air.

I run mine on Med, and I don't have an Issue with noise.

I wouldn't sleep next to it, but its not loud enough to piss me off.

My System Temp is 26C idle according to Speedfan, Both CPU's and the GPU idle around 37C with just the stock case fans on med.

just used this for a system i built for a friend

silent fans (with speed control), tons of room, screw less drive installation, and temp readout. great for the price imo.

I've got an 900 series as well and would agree you on this. Mine is on med mostly with an extra fan to keep my overclocked c2d (2.8Ghz 24/7 need better heat sink) and my 5 hard drives cool. The noise level is bearable but not silent.

one more question...when u buy a thermaltake kandalf or armor, does it come with the liquid coolant... and do u have to use it or can you just have it air cooled, i know it sounds like a stupid question

Some cases come with the liquid cooling but most are an optional extra mine came without but is still offers excellent cooling, i upgraded the 2 120mm fans for some beasty Delta ones but wasnt really needed.

This comes with liquid cooling

You should get a case that's practical and fits your needs.  Save the extra money for the stuff going IN the box!

well its absolutely silent and moves a lot of air. keeps all those passively cooled components nice and cold
