If such a feature would get added, the engineer would need the ability to defuse it with the wrench, like he can with the mines and claymores.
Maybe even give him +1 teamwork point if he does so.
That way you it's assured that team members are going to come close to the poor wired PVT.
Hehe.

Also, if you get wired for the first time, you're probably highly confused by the constantly showing red skull warning sign.

Thinking a bit more, the insurgents and rebels in SF should definitely get that ability...

Maybe the right mouse button could be used for that. Or holding the right mouse button until a some meter has filled up to avoid accidental self destruction.

Yeah, if its the one I'm thinking of its called Warlord. But there is another one that is similar. Are you talking the one where you could get on the ground as well, or the one where you had to stay in the bunker?

Warlord was the map with the two big buildings between the cliffs if I'm right. One of the maps I also liked that Space map.. It reminded me of Quake III Arena. Good times..

in the alpha build of bf2 they had it, you could put it on teammates and enemies but they removed it because they didn't want to have jihad training in their game.

Well, Warlords was the one with the two bunkers and you could run outside and go to the other one.

The one I'm thinking of is Blasted Canyon, where you spanwed him up in a bunker. There was one each end, and a big closed in space between the two. You could either stay in your bunker and rocket the crap out of the other bunker, or jump down and run around in the middle until you died and spawned back in the bunker.

+1 for just reminding me I had the game still!

I thought of another way to exploit this, you strap C4 to a teammate with ff off, then someone else puts C4 under him and blows him up in an arc towards the enemy. Instant artilllary.
Another option would be dropping C4ed soldiers from a blackhawk. Carpet bombing

But yeah, it would be awesome. Just a week or two ago, my friend and I tried to mod the C4 to do that, but we couldn't figure it out, so we just made the C4 move in the air, like there was no gravity.

I guess C4 ATV's are close to C4 soldiers, they are small and fast, but it's really hard to stick c4 on an enemy ATV.
