Forgive. Unless it's one of those idiots who intentionally teamkills, spams "sorry", drowning out everyone else, and then goes "ZOMG Y U PUNISH I SAY ZORRY?!!?`1"

Ok, somebody here needs to explain this to me. What is the purpose of Punishing/Forgiving? And why do other get so pissed off (The lil kiddies out there, or overly tempered ones) about people who punish for an accident?

When you get a team kill you get -4 points right? And when somebody punishes you, you STILL have the -4 points correct? So it's not like that person has the ability to get you double the negative points does he? So you could punish all day and it wouldn't matter.

I get the most teamkills when I'm in a tank and all on accident. I guess people thing a tank doesn't have a REVERSE mode. When i'm backing up from a fire fight, or to avoid a long range AT missle I hear "AOuugh!" er "Ahhaha!" a lot.....We all know what that sound means. I had 4 teamkills 3 minutes into a new round on Karkand....That was a sad moment.

a teamkill is always -4 points. ALWAYS.
however, you dont always kill someone in one hit, do you? therefore, you can get an additional -2 for team damage before they actually die.

the only point in the punish system is for kicking players.

Ah, it seems to me that most servers don't kick players with a lot of negative points. I've looked at a lot of servers on the server list and saw people with -16+ and one time a dude with -45!

But I know the servers exist, because I've been kicked a few times from (like before) running over my own guys in the tank. It's a shame because we probably lose those rounds (Ya, I'm pretty much the guy who saves the team from other apc's/tanks/infantry capping flags.)

im really surprised at the outcome of this poll. 135 people forgive?? Man I've hardly been forgiven when I team kill on accident...I guess I don't spam sorry enough....

Depending on the type of Tk i would usually forgive.

I seem to always forgive unless it happens more then twice and punish if it was purposely done in order to cause me annoyance.

Well, if you went in the way then it was YOUR fault, therefore you should FORGIVE, as long as you have some common sense this will not be too hard to understand...
