I'm getting this mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6813131073
but the only problem is that the mobo is supposedly picky about the ram used. Does anyone have this mobo and can recommend a non-problematic set of ram. I was looking at this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6820227179 or even this set http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6820227196
Yes, they seem expensive but I don't want to skim on it because I want really good gaming ram.

Thanks

alright I fixed the second link, Im really set on getting the asus mobo because it was recommended to me. I'll have to look into the evga one. This is my first attempt at building my own pc so it's taking me longer to purchase because of research and asking for opinions/help. My budget is around $2000 cdn I can go over to about $2200 but no more if someone wants to help me out. I dont need a hd/videocard/monitor.

Heh I already had most of that picked out except the mobo/ram problem im running into, and an Antec 900 case =p . The bonus of the evga is it's cheaper than the asus one which could net me some free cash to maybe grab a new graphics card to set myself up for sli later in the year. yay

edit: I dont need a soundcard atm because im using a headset for chatting
