Everyone Knows what happend at Virginia Tech and already some people are making jokes about it.

How is this funny? How is young people being murdered funny? Take A look at this and tell me how damn funny it is:

Some of the people making jokes think that they're bad ass or cool in some way because they make off color jokes. You are not funny. Plain and simple. You may say "well, i think they're funny". Go right ahead. say it all you want. But you wouldn't say it to the victim's family's face, or maybe the football team from Virginia Tech.

You are not a badass, It's not funny. Your attempt at humor through bad taste 100% pathetic, you may think you are some cool rogue by doing this, but you are seriously being idiotic and childish.

I cannot stand when people think it's cool to act like horrible shit is laughable. How would you like it if someone you loved was burtally murdered? I don't mean that rhetorically, I mean Literally, how would you feel if someone you loved was brutally murdered? Don't waste anyone's time with posts like "I wouldn't care" or anything like that. It's trite and ignorant.

I am not trying to waive my finger or harp on anyone, I am just saying have some respect for the victims. I am speaking of people in general, not just BF2s.

But, please, At very least, have some taste and keep it off BF2s.

ok, true. I don't argue there. IF someone cracks a joke about an armed gunman in a war zone getting waxed. I can look past that. Anyone wielding a gun and dies, well, don't have a gun, or don't get into a firefight. I am not saying it's different.

What I am saying is this was a massacre, and very recent, and it was young innocent people just trying to learn and better themselves. Yes, children in Iraq are dieing on thier way to school and such, and when someone starts in on jokes about that, I'll be happy to tell them to STFU too.

on the internet and I seen a vew posts here on BF2s making slight jokes. It's unnecissary and I wanted to to address it immediately.

EDIT: it wasnt jokes about the shooting, but it was bringing the school's name up innapropriately. No names. Just saying "not necissary"

True. Nothing really you can do. ButI just ask for people to have respect. I don't find 9/11 jokes funny either. Also unnecissary. At VERY least people could fucking wait a while.

Yeah i've been there mate. You gotta have a laugh and a joke else you'd go insane. And it is only really acceptable if you're directly affected. Not like most of the people who talk about 9/11 and this VT incident!

I was pretty detatched from this incident until I was talking to somebody at work and their neighbour's grandson was over at that college studying and apparently he got shot a few times and they didn't know if he was ok.

Luckily I found out the next day he was alive but I'm damned if it aint a small world.
