BF2S Forums F2000 as assault unlock?

I believe that the F2000 shows as the first unlock in the 3 gun cycle (in-game menu).
The F2000 is the special forces expansion unlock.  You must unlock the G3 first, then the F2000.
You can do that at Sgt. if you have the expansion.
The F2000 is less powerful, more accurite and has a GL.  Personally, I like it better than the G3, but I always prefer accuracy.

F2000 sucks IMO.  If they are going for expermental gun, at least somthing like the XM8.  Personaly I would prefer somthing a bit better tested, myslef.  Like an FN P90. . . although that is more an engineers gun. . .  (Hell I would play engineer more often if they got that) as it is a SMG, and made for tank crews ect.

Although I am not much of a fan of the G3.  In game it is a nice alternitive.  Mostly IMO since you get throwable grenades, as is my preferance.  Yet the high recoil, and low ammo capacity make the G3 more of a distance single shot weapon, more suited to snipers than assult.  Personaly I think the Steyr AUG would have been a better choice (this is a collition of english speaking countries right, we get the UK assult rifle for medics, why not the Aussy assult rifle as well?).  Also the AUG can mount an M203.

I'd be all for an AUG in this game also, with the caveat that it performed like the AUG in Rainbow Six - Raven Shield.  I'd used that gun for pretty much every time of combat in that game, it was very well-rounded.
