Well I have been practising for 2 weeks now and Im proud to say I finally mastered the Art of Bombing!
Few weeks back when I dropped a bomb the only thing I would hit would be 500m away from the actual target.

My tips for the young pilots who would like to train their pilot/bombing skillz :
Join a empty Gulf Of Oman map.
Fly around and make some daring manouvres so you get the hang of flying.
Now try to bomb the enemy's jets and helo's.
After that, bomb the bridges and artillery.

I pretty much learned it in that order.

For bombing I use the SU´s or the F15. You don´t need really good aim with this jets...

Ok, you caught me!
I just dont like big maps that much =/.
Its not like im jumping to get in an airplane, oh no.
Its more of an last resort kind of thing.

Yeh those stats are pretty much from the time I thought I could fly an airplane .
I only tried flying to get my basic aviator badge. If I hop in a airplane any time soon, I'll let ya know how it went .

Just remember, if youre in a mig-29/J-10 and never fly straight, you cant be hitted by missiles. You just dont.

Probably 50% of my deaths are because of crashes because of connection problems/own stupidness.

I'll have to say, flying a airplane is funny stuff . Nobody that tries to kill you (most of the time anyways). You just fly around and look for stuff to kill, really death from above.
Btw I still fly with my mouse.. I so whant a joystick ..

I need to find these servers Everytime I get in a jet it seems like I have at least 1 if not both of the enemy planes glued to my ass. Only way I can shake em off is to fly too high and then spend 3 minutes regaining control when you fall.

Anyway, grats on flying. I spent time learning in Sp, but I prefer to ground pound or shoot down helis with the jeeps

Ok I admitt, there are these punks that follow you around the map just to aggrovate you with the "warning" sound.

As for the ground pound part, you can only do that to so far, then its time for a change .

One last thing-I have found that the only 16-player map with a jet is Operation Clean Sweep. As of such, you can use that to practice your skills vs. the computer. It's also good for bombing-you get the fighter-bombers. Also, I have a joystick-I'll have to try it out for flying (I have so far used my mouse). I don't count myself as anything like a master pilot yet, but I have become a decent pilot doing that.

I like to follow other jets, but I try not to use missles. I've been screwed way to many times by the stupid stray missles and their love to find friendlies.

PS This shouldn't be a "My stats are better than you thread" becuase there is always someone better than you unless you are ranked #1.

Nearly all my aviator time has been spent as a crew member. I like the laser guided missiles. When you have a co-oporative pilot who flies straight and lets you fire the missiles rather than engaging in a long and pointless dogfight, they own.

I avoid dogfighting at all cost's. Ever tried making 5 loops with a mouse? Yeh, that's real annoying .
Anyways I'll stick to bombing .
