Pocket Noob - a person in your squad who is basically good for one thing; disposable cannon fodder, bullet shield, distraction, etc.  cant kill anyone to save his life, dont count on him to watch your back.  but he will spawn on you and take some hot lead in the back to let you know when/where the enemies are coming.  can usually be found standing up in the open when the rest of the squad is hugging gravel for their lives.

Facce Noob - comes from a piss poor pronunciation of what 'face' might sound like in italian or some crap. pronounced fah-chay.  a Facce Noob is someone so bad that their only skill lies in 'getting owned in the facce'.

Commander Newblington - ever charge a heavily fortified base and clear out the enemies only to then have your commander call arty on your position?  thats him

Arnold Noobzenegger - charges in anywhere and everywhere guns a'blazin, but kills nothing.  like arnold in commando tries to snipe people with his m249 with one hand while jumping, but unlike arnold, does not succeed in anything but redecorating the landscape with a swiss cheese theme.

those are the only one my friends and i have spewed out during drunken lan parties, anyone else got some?

I prefer the term MEAT-SHEILD.

For the cannon fodder types - anyway.

And they're not totally useless - in (2) ways - they take fire I don't and help reveal opponent positions.

hehe yeah they do absorb bullets and help reveal enemy positions, but they also give away your position, which at least negates the second one you mentioned

That is true mostly [or more] in vehicles,

Example:
I take the long way in a boat to a flag on Wake Island; to cap the first USMC island flag;
I make myself a sqaud & ask players to join; what do they do when they start appearing?
Nothing and wait until we make it to the Island? NO!
Someone starts firing the MG at non-targets on the island? Why?
So everyone who is within visual or earshot will know were we are heading! LOL its super-stupid.

.
Also there is a point when you need a MEAT-SHEILD; just one player goes for the flag. If there are
entrenched opponent positions you will know shortly - look at what happend to the MEAT-SHEILD!

I play that part often, when nobody else will, or when I see my team hanging back & wondering? It actually helps-out. . .

Is that a gay euphemism?  j/k. but getting blasted by anything from the air while capturing a flag surely blows.
