Anyone who saw the video and was offended I apologise. Maybes I should have included more in the OP. So that is a mistake on my part.

At least the soldiers are being brave even though Bush sends them to war, and often people back home badmouth them and dont appriciate their sacrifices.. Its such a sad world we are living in..

I know it sounds "hippy'ish" but its our job to learn from the mistakes of history (old and new) and make this a better world for us all!

my suggestion to a first step:

- stop obsessing so much about religion (both muslim and christian for that matter).. cause its not just the muslims that claim to act in "gods will"... a "strong" believe in religion + an advanced military is just as dangerous as "fanatic" belifs and crude weapons..

my sence.. and please dont take this the wrong way if you believe in a so called "god" IMO religion is just making this world a more divided and violent world instead of giving hope and such..

To Parker: Its better to show the shitty things going on over there than not to. Its about being informed, not about which side youre on. If someone is too hurt by lost of a loved one or experiences they have had over there, they dont HAVE to watch it. Its for people who are not over there and have no loved ones over there, it helps us understand the trials and trivilations that a soldier goes through and why they should or should not be there.

no, i understand that we need to be informed about what is happening over there. i stay informed pretty much everyday, whether i want to or not.
my point is that is not a great way to see what is happening over there. that video was biased propaganda.....plain and simple.

and let me be the first to tell you that watching a video isnt going to make you understand what it is like to be a soldier in a war. that is what boot camp is for, and if you ask any of them they will probably tell you that didnt prepare them enough for what they were to endure. that video had no reasons of why they should or should not be there. it showed pain and misery and death, with flashes of GW in there to get the point across.

i wonder if the troops that were shown dead and wounded felt the same way that the guy that made the video did?
