Erm.... its PB how sort hacks and exploits out.
download the Battlerecorder and send it to ea.

I don't need to send anything to EA, this is a known hack.

They have done jack shit to fix it.

i myself have not had the same experience yet, but at least i dont tell someone to f.off and suck it up, if you do you hack yourself and get off by ruining someone elses play.

I don't see the hack. I see a smart use of UAV and supplies to win the game...As I recall awhile ago you told me there was no such thing as tank whoring, so why bitch now?

Um... maybe just leave the server and move on to a different one?  Is that the end of the world?  Every multiplayer game out there has various hacks, whether via packet sniffing or some other method.

Bobo had one thing right though, you do complain A LOT.  I don't think I've read a post from you that hasn't been a complaint or some lengthy analysis that turns out to be a complaint in disguise.  And frankly, by the sound of this post, maybe you shouldn't be playing this game.  I'm beginning to wonder if you even realize that this is a GAME

I'm not going to tell you how to play the game, but let me give you a bit of advice.  Play the game for the fun of the game itself.  Stop analyzing your bullet dispersion ratios.  Stop complaining about the medic gun, we all know it's God's gift to bullets.  Take all of the pie charts and graphs off of the wall.  Just join a game, play it for fun, don't even watch your score and you will have an IMMENSELY better experience.  If somebody starts hacking, so what? Just move on.

And just to reiterate, because I already know what you're going to say, I know that this game is not perfect.  I know that there are hacks and bugs and blah blah blah.  I have yet to find a multiplayer game that is not hackable in any sort of way.  I spent years dealing with radar and loot hacks on DAOC, and this is a game that is much more server-side than an FPS ever will be, but it happens.  But I'm not going to toss myself off a bridge over it.  Until the day arrives that multiplayer games are rendering completely on the server-side there will be hacks.

As for EA releasing an expansion, I can pretty much guarantee that EA has separate teams working on new material and fixing old material.  If the team working on hacks and bugs is having difficulty tracking down the source of the bugs, they are not going to inhibit the other team from releasing new material.  It's just the way software companies are set up.

To summarize though:  Either get over it all, or move on, because it can't be healthy if you're stressing this much about a game.

I agree with this guy.  If some loser has to hack to have fun, just go to a different server.  It's not like he's going to follow you...

how dare EA... hahaha. people have developed hacks... so how dare ea launch an expansion. this is funny. I enjoy this guy's posts, I hope they continue. this one isn't as good as his rant about how the game has a "double standard for damage" that apparently gives other players an advantage over him, but still, its pretty good.

I get the feeling that any time a round goes by that doesn't quite measure up to par... we get a new addition to the complain section.

DS=Unit92, how in the hell can you say its completely valid??? that link you posted is to a sight that sells hacks, it fricken calls the thing the COMMANDER HACK. its cheating and its one of a few reasons EA will reset your account and ban your CD key. you make it sound like its just some in game option nobody knows about! I hope I misunderstood your post.

RKF77... someone has posted the list of hundreds, thousands of players who have been kicked and banned by PB for hacking. just do a search and I'm sure you will find it

Before you insult him, read the post he made. He wasn't complaining about the tank whoring or the use of uav and supply. He's complaining about the game hack the loser was using and EA's/PB's failing in addressing this KNOWN hack.

I've seen this hack myself and EA/PB obviously know about it. Many people have emailed them about this and nothing has been done yet.

It wasn't 1 supply box, it was multiple supply boxes at the same time. The hack allows for someone, even when 'not' playing commander, to use commander type abilities such as: infinite supply boxes, infinite arty, infinite uav's. Ask around the forums and you'll see others have come across this.

My experience was on the Dragon Valley map when some tard dropped 3 arty strikes on me and my squad one after the other (span of 15 secs, 5 secs each arty strike). I dunno about other people but usually when i play commander it takes a minute or two before my arty recharges....

Obviously the rest of you enjoy the presence of hackers in the game. Why, I don't know. Dropped once too many times on the head as a child? Fetal alcohol syndrome? Or just simply stupid? But I guarantee you, hacks aren't something that should be encouraged by this "oh just leave if they start doing it" bull shit.

It's people like this, who sit there and accept any crap the game developer flings at you, that nothing ever gets done. You put no pressure on EA, they couldn't care less. Why do you even bother reporting stat padders and the rest, I mean, shit, if you guys think the command hack is alright and just server hop until you find one without some 12 year old abusing it, why get up in arms about stat padders either?

A hack is an external program that modifies the game. See unit92's link. Smart supplies and UAV vs unlimited supplies and unlimited UAV. Nice comparison though, a 3rd party program that illegally modifies the game is so comparable to using a vehicle intended to be in the game that people are generally too lazy to get counters for.

You, and all others who would enable hackers in this manner by tolerating them, disgust me. It is because of you that a competitive game of BF2 will never be realized.

Sorry but, this is easily avoidable. Tell your commander to call an arty strikes on the tank, and all those supply crates are now destroyed. Then proceed to destroy the tank by any means, even c4 ramming.

Are you even listening? The artillery strike would simply make him call down 4 more crates a little ways forward or back. Nobody could get even close to him. He and his ENTIRE TEAM were abusing the crates and limitless UAVs. He had a legion of people with him and it was all we could do just to keep them off. There was a maximum 1 transport to try to C4 ram with, which would fail, due to all the infantry and UAV spotting he had.

Screaming HACKHACK OMFG HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK is just as lame as this tankwhore spawncamping.

Think about it from a statistical standpoint...think about how many freakin' people worldwide play this game...you trying to tell me only 749 of them were cheating?

I think that when Blizzard did a map hack detection schema for Diablo 2, that run resulted in 10s of thousands of accounts being banned/flagged. Give children a tool to cheat with, and unfortunately they'll use it. Nobody cares anything about integrity or self respect these days, or even how their actions reflect on others. What really gets my jaw to drop here is the apathy and/or encouraging of the hackers, both by absolving EA of having any responsibility towards fixing it by buying more of their products or defending them, and by the fact that people will see a hacker, then work WITH him (instead of TKing him) to inflate their own scores. Absolutely disgusting.
