In case you were unaware I thought I would let you guys know that there is a new version of NVIDIA nTune available.

NVIDIA® nTune is the ultimate utility for accessing, monitoring, and adjusting your system components, including temperature and voltages with clear, user-friendly control panels. Overclock your system for highest performance or underclock it for near silent operation. meh... i left my Vista system on overnight with the NTune facility left on, and next morning my computer wouldnt boot.

Kept cominy up with something like "The checksum for file winboot.exe is invalid", so i repaired Vista, and ever since it has been really, really, slow. So i will give it a couple of days to try and rectify the problem, otherwise im off for another reformat.

NTune went as soon as it came

I can't figure out why it always says my disk usage is either at 100% or 0%... is there no inbetween?

nTune is rubbish. It's not as rubbish as most of these things, but it's still rubbish. Especially the monitoring tool - which lies.

The BIOS reconfiguration tool can be quite handy, but you still have to reboot to make the changes, so really you might as well jsut do it in the BIOS.

Sort of. There is a tool which is basically just your BIOS in windows, but what is the point of that? It's just a prettier frontend.

No, its DDR2 but I think the Ntune is screwed up on my computer

Yes you can do it that way, however it's a bit gay and it's much better just to be a real man and do it through the BIOS. (Y)
