Not sure if the Junk Drawer is the right place to post this, but Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's old XFM radio shows have to be the funniest thing ever. They feature random chatting about topics ranging from hairy chinese kids to Karl Pilkington's father putting a downs syndrome kid in a wheelie bin.

The shows are around an hour long with the songs cut out, they feature Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, the co-producers of the office (UK) and Extras, and also their XFM producer Karl Pilkington, a round headed stupid little bald mank twat, possibly the funniest person in the world.

You can download in rapidshare or sendspace, the files are pretty quick to download, have a listen when you're bored, and enjoy the hilarity

My favourite thing that he said was about the riddle where you have 2 guards, one can only lie one can only tell the truth, and you can ask one question to get past.

I'm not going to write what he said because it would spoil it, you have to hear it.

I think it was on the first series of podcasts, You have to pay for it now, but it was free at first. If anyone wants it I can send it them

I wanted to get that too, but is it his diary? (that he read out on the podcast) or just a book about him?

Was the diary even published?

It was a transcript of all the podcasts, word for word with extra stories added, some pictures and a few pages literally scanned out of his diary, quite a fun read

I don't think the full diary was ever published, which is a shame cause it's so damn funny.

Yeh I listened to all the XFM shows last summer when I had to drive to Scotland and back. Fucking love Karl Pilkington, also did anyone notice ALOT of stuff they said on the XFM stuff made it into either: The podcasts, The office series 2 and extras series 1 & 2. Brilliant to sit there and listen to how they come up with stuff and be themselves. I went to see Ricky Gervais Politics in London a couple of years ago and also met Robin Ince the guy who played Stuart Foot in the office lol. Brilliant.

Karl is great, i got halfway through the pod cast and stopped for some reason, best finish it.

I just saw Fame, it was awsome but i didnt think much of Ince.

Yeah I noticed they recycled some of their jokes, such as the homeless guy seeing Ricky's shows in dixon's windows cropped up in the radio show, the podcast and also extras, but even when it's recycled it's hilarious
