well i JUST recently got this static from my speakers and then it shuts off then i have to reboot to fix it and then it happens again i downloaded the most recent drivers from creative and i am running vista(never had this problem b4) soo i need alls opinions on this. and no im downgrading to XP and my speakers r like 4 years old

did you DL anything lately? do anything diff rent to you're comp?, try this, go to your bios on startup/restart and choose last good configuration
