Sorry if this has already been posted, but right now, digg is falling apart due to the take down of the hd dvd processing key.

Digg staff keep trying to take down posts containing the key, but they seem to be losing the battle.

victim, i believe its the master encrypt key for hd-dvd. after cracking it, literally any and all current hd-dvds become available for ripping and selling/sharing.

Given the amount of money that went into developing the copy protection, the amount they would stand to lose from pirated discs, and the ease of finding where the code has been posted(as you graciously pointed out) it wouldn't surprise me if there were tons of sites in the coming days that received a "Cease and Desist" order. And taking the attitude of "It's all over the internet, so it's OK" doesn't change the fact that it's illegal.
