I have this, should I change it for that?

If not, then what? I'm not going to spend a huge amount on a graphics card at the moment, as I'm going to build a new machine pretty soon with a DX10 card. So anything below £100 ($200).

don't buy a new card of you are going to get a new PC soon. But if you really want an upgrade, look at a 7600GT. They outperform x1600 s and are generally the same price. Or go for a low end dx10 card.

When I say "soon" I don't mean that soon, I want to wait until more DX 10 games have come out.

And since the X1600 is only £20 I just want to know would I notice a difference from my current card?

Save up till you can buy a 8800GTS 320mb. It's more bang for the buck.

You will, but probably not much.
