Hit Rego...or lack thereof

This is just gettin worse. I play on Internode and they are getting terrible.

So i want to know whether hit rego is a general Bf2 problem or just restricted to other things.

Pls tell us what server you play on?

What your ping is?

If you have rego problems?

if so has it always been like that?

For the record the bf2s AUS server is pure gold...all hits

I only play on servers which range from 50 - 80 ping, and my hitreg is nice, on default settings (the tweaks never improved my hiteg at all).

I only really notice bad hitreg if I fire m16 while moving at someone who is lying still

I thought the bad hit registration was caused by the hitbox lagging behind the movement of a character? So if people would stand perfectly still, there shouldn't be a problem?

My ping is usually less than 10 ms, but hitting people who are moving perpendicular to me is still hard.

Lol, i find bf2s au has the worse hit rego of all servers i play, GA and node are fine for me and i always ping at 39 or so.

A part of the problem, and something any skilled BF2 player has adjusted to, whether he knows it or not.

Hitreg has gotten worse. I got it occasionally in 1.3, but as tweaking became populair and 1.4 was released it got abysmal.

im usually on the node 32 on 64 inf only and i think ga #02 serves mostly only get bad hit reg when my ping is high.

I dunno I was playing in a low ping server yesterday. Around 15 or so and the hit reg was fine but there was this one guy who had a ping of 130 or so and seemed to defy all physics as I pumped him full of lead and he didnt go down. This happend on more then one occasion on the same guy. I killed him a couple times but still I found it odd.

Crouching like in BF2142 helps to, don't ask and bunnyhopping your way to victory lets you shoot better, my ping is 10-30 but I'am still shite compared to other peoples reg and I dont 'tweak' -_-

Nah I'm all default, My hitreg has always been alright, tweaking my settings seems to have no effect for me, it's good no matter what. I heard tweaking only really works if you have a problem in the first place.

Play on Gamearena hit reg is more reliable from what I hear, also I play there a bit and it seems alright most of the time.

I find hit reg worse on ICONZ #3 compared to ICONZ #7. Hated trying to play on ICONZ #3 recently. I think it has something to do with server hardware being crap or the map not being reloaded by the server often.

I usually have 30-60 ping, and my rego is quite good.

But, when several people with high ping join the server it gets a lot worse

Ive been playin the game for 1600hrs, by now you get to understand how many burst/bullets it can take to bring someone down. When it takes that extra 2 bursts or it or extra time then you know its not right.....

Yes see this is also one of things ive noticed each server has different rego, ill play one it'll be fine for a round or 2 then nothing. Ill change server for it to be worse on another etc.

I technically dont have a problem with GA servers but they dont have the server setups i like, and no one ever one them, GA 2 is just trash. Would play some iconz but i lag like a bitch.

30-60 ping is what i play in, sometimes i get people that seem to be filled with dust no matter what i hit them with, im used to it by now
