I once spilled soy sauce on my keyboard. I didn't want it to leak through the keys and kill my keyboard so I used my lips as a vacuum and sucked it all up. It was gross, but it was worth it to save my dear keyboard.

On the plus side, some of the rice that I sucked up went well with the soy sauce.

thankfully, I've never done that.

ANd I hope I never do, because i love my keyboard.  I have an Eclipse I.  I decided to get that one over the Eclipse II and that fancy one with the screen--i don't remember what it's called.

I'd probably take all the keys off and clean it out with qtips that I dipped in windex.

i turn it upside down. they're pretty safe dude. most of the electronics are sealed off well enough that being dripped on does nothing. immersing it, however...

I just look down in despair and watch the substance leak down in between the keys.
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.

I've actually killed a couple keyboards from spilling a bottle of chew spit.  No way you're getting me to suck that up.

Once I spilled Coke on a keyboard. Unplugged it, then got some paper towels. I set the keyboard upside down on the towels for a few days, to let it drain out. Then I took a knife and popped off all the sticky keys and cleaned them. Worked pretty well afterwards.

I generally don't spill stuff on it. I'm very careful about spilling drinks, because I don't want to lose it and clean it off the carpet, the chair, and my clothing.
But crumbs just get left in there, and shaken out when keys start sticking. If I WAS to spill anything in it, I would take the circuitboard out and rinse it under the tap, dry it carefully, and reassemble.

Really quickly leap out of my chair and unplug it before it fries. Then I calmly sit back down and wipe it down.

Buttsecks?

I just had to say it. It was right there.

Generally when I spill stuff on my keyboard, it's flavoring powder form chips. So it sinks in. Before I can do anything.

Maybe I need a new keyboard.

Open it
remove circuit board
remove rubber layer (dish washer runs to hot for that, won't melt but may damage it)
Put all the plastic part in the dish washer
et voilà

you got a brand new keyboard

About the keyboard blow job, that's disguting all the stuff that get there between the keys.......... i think i'm gonna be sick

Naw. Few more months and the whole keyboard will be one massive potatoe chip.
