Palestinian government puts stop on broadcast of the cartoon. Would someone like to praise the Palestinian government for the reasonable and sensible course of action they've taken (wouldn't happen in Saudi)?

Considering the time, situation and mind set of the time, not to mention none of the civil rights crisis had happened yet, I don't think there is much foul here and I certainly don't hold it against Dr. Seuss.

Also, remember that the image of a Japanese man at the time was a short, bucktoothed, glasses wearing demon spawn, and that image was generated by the government and the war machine to boost morale (by making people feel like we were better than them) and to get people to enlist, rather than by bigotry or racism.
