Meh. When I was rly into CS:S, especially surf servers, I saw no end of kids with microphones. It was SO fucking fun to get the whole server to gang up on them and haze them till they disconnected.

Surf servers are so bad, in general. I play on Akron pretty much exclusively, which is one of the very few non-rpg, non-DM servers out there. If you're interested in surfing you should pay it a visit, it's run by mature admins. young kids on mics = warn, then mute, then kick.
I do enjoy going onto a regular RPG surf server and playing barbie girl over the mic 'till people leave though. the tards deserve it for using a mic before being able to have their balls crushed.

CSS is losing its touch. GunGame and the LeetNetwork 24/7 Office server are still booming, but i'm getting tired of everything else. Zombie Mod is so over rated too. I still love GM, but only Single Player, when you launch a gm_construct map online, bastards come in and fuck with your shit. Personal prop servers are too rare.

How do you play music over your mic? The last method I knew back in the day was some sort of script from myg0t, but idk if that's been fixed in a patch or the file's just obsolete now...

edit: Yeah CSS is definitely losing it. It's like BF2, only instead of Wake and Karkand it's Dust2, Office, and ZM. "Back in the day" there was lots of variety, lots of custom maps.
