I started playing BF2 after some friends at work were constantly telling me how great it was and that i should buy it. They used to compare each other stats on a computer in the corner of the room that bypassed the company firewall

First post was in Jan '06. Something to do with warmongering Americans. Made some assumptions about gunslinger. Gunslinger, I can't find the thread in question, but I'd be ashamed of it if I could. I was naive and more than a little foolish when I first showed up here, still am in most ways... but I've learned a lot too. Haha, once I was even stupid enough to believe the US government carried out 9/11. Shit me I've grown since I started coming here.
Very innaccurate assumptions about gunslinger too. He has since without knowing it gained alot of respect in my eyes. A good mind in that head of his and given his past and present those around long enough will remember him discussing his past in a thread he can stand tall and be very, very proud of himself. He has an understanding of the politics in the Middle East that few in the general public would ever be able to grasp and he's a valuable addition to the forums.
The same applies to quite a few of the D&ST regulars. Smarter lot that they give themselves credit for. Though there are a few morons in there (not naming names).
Would like to meet quite a few of the people I know via this site. An interesting lot. Not sure where this post is going but I have to be up at 1am and it's 10:40pm now here so I'll wrap it up.
Oh and Tayner, I'm going to take you up on that offer one day. Just hope you aren't living in a shitty flat on your own by then because I'm not kipping on your floor if the place isn't heated decently.

Found the site when searching for bf2 stats, looked at the forums reading all the brilliant guides. Scared to join because of the huge flame fests. Then finally posted something.
