By the way we have loads of super hot Polish chicks here now as well and as for your comment on Ireland being a shithole ...why are loads of Irish people returning from America back to Ireland? It could be something to do with having one of the best economies in Europe and the lowest unemployment rate in the EU.

I for one (as I'm sure Cameron is) am glad I will NEVER be an American ...remember that if you ever try to invade my country, I think many Iraqi's are expressing the same strong feelings at the moment in occupied Iraq.
Considering that there are more Irish in the US than in Ireland (and our Polish population is nearly a fourth of Poland's population), we'd (according to your logic) still win in the ratio battle.

Now I don't know why you and Cameron would never want to be American, but apparently plenty of your brethren beg to differ.

That said, I'm not trying to incite more anti-Irish sentiment here, I'm just saying that you should come up with something better to the stupid hatred on the Irish by Spittle.
Some of my best friends are Americans whose roots are from Ireland.  I will bad on any country someone is from when they constantly bad on mine.  Besides, Ireland really doesn't have much.  I have trained many Irish from Dublin.  In general they were pencil necked alcoholics with bad teeth and slow wit that didn't really want to leave America (especially the women) because their cold rainy Island offered them little to look forward too.  Couldn't afford a house, car, gas, and had nothing to do.  Women complained that the men were shy introverts that couldn't dance or even talk to them, and they enjoyed being around American men.  I think the better part of the Irish gene pool made it to America long ago, because all the Irish I met were nothing like my American friends that have forefathers from that rock.

Just my opinion based on my encounters with the Irish.
Yes Irish men are slow witted and very dim ...like James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, Bram Stoker, Louis LeBrocq, Francis Bacon etc etc. They're all pencil necked alcoholics like all the GAA players who go out and play Gaelic football and hurling (which are tougher than American Football and Hockey) without the aid of steroids and the next day go out and work their 9 to 5 jobs without complaining about injuries or any of that nonsense. Come over and visit Ireland and see how you get on with the Irish men who actually lift some weights and enjoy a good dust up, there are quite a few of us here!

Btw on the female front, all of my female friends can't stand American men, not because of foreign policy or the typical US male attitude or anything like that but because of the accent ...big turn off apparently.

Bush, Kerry, Clinton... does it really matter.  According to the latest Gallup poll, the Democratic Majority Senate has the lowest ratings the US Senate has ever had.  Lower than the President's rating in fact.

All I am pointing out is that everyone seems to want to blame one person.  The whole system is wack, and not just in America.

What specifically is your evidence that Bush has now officially "failed?"

I insult more than just American politicians Spittle. Try Israeli politicians, African leaders and politicians here in Ireland. The thing is I usually back up my insults with an argument based on facts and such - so they aren't merely insults.

Major_Spittle wrote:

Newsflash: the last notable wave of European immigration was over 50 years ago. I don't owe allegiance to anyone Spittle. If I want to trash Irish chicks then that's my prerogative. Naturally, just like anywhere, there are decent folk and not so decent folk. And if you get that insulted or aggrieved by random Irishmen dissing your political leaders then you need to realise the irony of you posting criticisms (for criticism read petty insults) about someone else getting worked up about the acts of people far far away from home.

Ever hear of the concept of 'change'. Guess not. This is a very different Ireland to the shitheap they left. We now have hundreds of thousands of immigrants from every corner of the world now in a country of only 4 million people, and yes some of them have come from the US.

Woaaaah! Major_Spittle finally attempts a proper response to a post! *hugs*

1. John Kerry was an odious, weak-willed sheep like many of both the main parties in the US. To not vote for the war would have been political suicide: "Oh look at him - he's not patriotic!!!", etc., etc. *yawn*

2. Newsflash: The price of oil has SKYROCKETED since Bush's little escapade in Iraq. If a recession is necessary to make us realise we need to not be so dependent on that oh-so-troublesome region of the earth then so fucking be it.

3. Wow. Oil aplenty was coming out of Iraq under Saddam. So your solution to some non-existent 'oil crisis' (I thought this was to do with 'terror') was to invade an ethnic powderkeg of a country that was not threatening in the least stupidly thinking you could control the natives? Your logic fails. See point 2. Regimes good and evil will always find a way of getting the black stuff out to pay for their palaces and fountains.

4. I don't judge threat levels on share of the oil market - instead of war I'd be thinking 'how the fuck do I reduce my dependency on this fucker' : it's tough Spittle but the US is hated in the middle east and to think that oil control by force is possible is just a silly dream now, as evidenced by the failure of the Iraq mission. The world and its fucking sister knew Saddam couldn't do squat. You live more than 10,000 miles away for Christ's sake and half the country was a no-fly zone, I mean seriously c'mon.

5. I don't see the relevance. What the fuck do you care about some downtrodden arabs? All of a sudden you have a heart of gold do you? Wanna give an arab a hug? I thought you believed in pulling yourself up by your bootstraps - the American way! Why don't they get up off their ass and overthrow these fucking dictators themselves? How about them exercising some fucking responsibility? Are you gonna give the Zimbabweans under Mugabe a hug too? And what about the Burmese under Than Shwe? And how about nuclear North Korea? Kinda overlooked that one. Your principles are full of fucking holes.

6. Didn't you guys put Saddam up to invading Iran? That invasion was A-O-K was it? Hypocrite.

I know this is unrelated, but this is the only thread that is mildly Bush/Iraq-themed which is anywhere near the top.
To occupy Iraq would instantly shatter our coalition, turning the whole Arab world against us and make a broken tyrant into a latter-day hero ... assigning young soldiers to a fruitless hunt for a securely entrenched dictator and condemning them to fight in what would be an un-winnable urban guerilla war. It could only plunge that part of the world into even greater instability.
Who said that?

Let's just say Dubya should've listened to his parents more often.
