Hmm can anyone of u guys give me a tip on infantry fighting? i mostly vehicle whore though. On maps like SHarqi peninsular, i find it very hard to snipe 10 people , let alone 20. I hate those guys jumping here and there. So is there a way to take them down? Period.
9 out of 10 times, they will be pressing the space key fast, so will jump in a rythm. if you can work out when they will hit the ground, jumping is irrelevant. you just gotta practice shooting at the same speed as their jumping.
well, with sniper rifles, u just aim at them, and shoot, if u dont get em in the head, it will do damage, shoot again for the kill (m24 or M95) or keep shooting till death (T88 or SVD)
Well if you're sniping, it's pretty easy, beacuse you shouldn't be in the middle of the action but more to one side. The tip with sniping is just don't be seen, pick off one or two that don't know you're there then move on.Ayumiz wrote:

If you're up against the 'bunny hoppers', like many have said on many many threads here, don't go beserk shooting at air, watch for their landing and you can work out where to shoot. Seriously, there's loads and loads of tips on here about ground fighting, have a search through and in no time, you'll be on a good killin' spree
hold ur scope in place where they're gonna land next and then just drop a shot on them
I kind of suck at sniping unless I have an M95 which is why it's going to be my next unlock.
Lead you target is the number one thing to do when sniping. And if your far enough, and i mean really far, like across the map far, aim about a centimeter above them.
Yeah, the bullet drop might make you hit the torso so that's why you have to aim above.joemah wrote:

people usualy dont bunny hop unless they think they are being shot at so find a good spot to the side of the action and just wait till u got a bead on their head make it 1 shot 1 kill, if u dont hit their head u might get a kill damage assit so unless u got a svd or t88 leave the wounded bunny hopper and search for better prey it will save u popping of 50 shots and giving away ur position because soon after u might feel a kife in ur gut from a not so happy bunny hopper.
by 20 kills i assume you are referring to the vet sniper badge. breath easy friend, vet sniper only requires 15 kills and expert only 35 kills.Ayumiz wrote:

It sounds like you are going for your vet sniper combat. If thats the case just go to your nearest wake island server and fly around in with the sniper kit. Should have 15 kills pretty soon. At least that's what I did.Ayumiz wrote:

umm, if they can't see you then you don't need to hurry to take a shot. Wait for them to stop, aim, wait for a count of 1 - and - bang.
If they are coming towards you, and they can see you, then try and place a shot in their chest. It won't down them, so if they are still running towards you, whip your pistol out and finish the job. If they dive for cover, then prep for another shot. You just need to hit them to take em out.

I mostly just play sniper when I want to be stealthy and get some headshots, but they dont end up being my highest scoring rounds. One thing I always look for are areas where a sort of stalemate has started (eg. Karkand when mec only has the gatehouse left... people tend to line up along each shore and its a snipers paradise)
