I don't think you can define a n00b by what weapon they use, but rather with their skill with the weapon.
I love the GP30 and M203 cos it's practically insta-death, but I don't run around the level just using that, I switch to AK101/M16 for CQB cos it makes more sense that way.
You can't ever call someone a n00b for taking the easy method of getting kills, otherwise anyone who plane whores is a n00b, which just isn't true.
Oh, and that would make you a n00b for playing assault most because it's got your best KDR, which I'm sure we both know isn't true.

I dont call people noobs for getting easy kills.

I call people noobs for not being able to use anything other than one weapon. It really isn't that hard to understand.

I havent played assault in nearly a year. Also, sniper is my highest KDR kit.

The term "noobtube" as it is known in BF2 originated in the early days of the game (probably before most of you started). The Grenade launcher attached to the Assault guns were used in close quarter combat. Upon meeting a player up to and including Zero meters away from you (IE, touching you), the Assault player would look straight down, jump and fire. The blast would kill the enemy and hardly damage the Assault player. Thus the term, NoobTube was born. (Because if you needed to grenade a guy less than 5 meters away from you, you were pretty bad)

Today this has been patched out. You can no longer jump and fire, as well as the minimum travel distance/bounce feature was added to the grenade.

You've obviously never played cal. I don't call noscoping 'the easiest gun' or hitting people in the head in mid-air something any beginner can do. How about you go get actual experience in the game before spewing crap.

A Noob Tube is a 203 or other nade launcher. The name came about from cry babies who didn't like the helpless feeling of watching a 203 coming at them. In BHD, the 203 was brutal, it didn't have to be nearly as close as it does in BF2.

Using a nade launcher at range shows alot of skill friend. Especially in BF2 with the splash damage so light.
