What should I do? I want an 8800 GTX really badly, but I'm going to have trouble getting the money. I can get it, just not for a while. Say summer. But by that point the 8950 GX2 will be out for the same price.

Should I just for for that or wait until the summer when the 8800 GTX price drops (from what I've heard)?

Well, if you won't have the money until the summer, I'd wait until the summer. Simple, no?

well if you will have enough money by summer for the better one, go for that, unless there is something else you require that could be obtained with the leftover funds from purchasing the cheaper card...

Yeah. That's one of the problems. Do I go for a GTS now and get the PSU that I still need now too? or do I wait it out until the summer, THEN get an 8950GX2 and the PSU? I'd just like to get to use things before they become outdated (my CPU specifically).

outdated is used too often. ive had the same system for two years and i can still run new games on high settings.
