Yeah, it's very funny when EA/DICE decide to stop supporting a game that has almost triple the amount of people playing it as the game they intend to stick with supporting. I just can't find the logic, but then I remember that it's EA/DICE and there is no rhyme or reason as to what do.
They should have started the 2142 engine from scratch, instead of simply using the BF2 engine and upgrading it a lil bit. But instead they rushed straight into 2142, and built it faster than any pc game i've ever seen.
you would have thought they were trying to break a world record for fastest designed game, thats how fast 2142 came out after BF2.
I think 2142 could have really been stunning and absolutely fantastic, if only they would have took there time with it.

BF2 is not that bug filled anymore... It just sucks sometimes that I always shoot through FAVs with the Eryx, but the rest is kinda ok. They could, however, also fix the crosshairs of the G36E that don't vanish when you're sprinting. hm... well... yeah, but BF2 roxx Bf2142, that's nothing new so far

Come on guys. How old is this game now? Most of us have played it so much that we're down under the 10 cents per hour paid for the game (if purchased at $50). That's INCREDIBLE. Give DICE the credit that's due.
Give them the chance to throw their resources into something else. After all BF2 will probably lose a ton of players when we see the next COD and Unreal Tourney 3. Let's hope they're working on BF3 with DirectX 10 graphics.

It carnt be that bug filled anyway or no1 would play it for hundreds of hours.
My only real complaint is the TV missiles flying right through targets that are obviously direct hits and the 450 meter range... needs to be like 550m.
Agreed, the re playability is finally waining on me, but dam I still love playing with the guys I have met playing this on line game. Lots of fun, and I could be doing a lot of other very unhealthy things...Marinejuana wrote:
