[Super Mario Brothers 3] Help

Does anyone know what the Cloud like thing does in your inventory?

because of Jenspm, I have been playing this game constantly during work and will probably continue playing it untill i complete it, so have been pausing it and then leavin my comp on over night!

managed to get to world 5 but got stuck. So wondering if that cloud thing might help.

It lets you float over one stage with out playing it. If you die you go back.
