It's normally never the commanders fault, however players typically blame the commander anyway, but the commander can only give orders, he/she cant force a player to follow them.

Squad leader's are given orders, then they refuse to follow them and when there teams flag-less, they blame the commander, I mean what kind of sense does that make?

The best commander's in Battlefield 2 are useless if the rest of the team refuses to work with him/her.

If its IO just go yourself it always works, swim for cement factory etc.

If on Vehicles grab an apc and gather some passengers and just BLAST through everyone at the first or second flags and head for a more back one.
