Finally: http://www.kel-tec-cnc.com/videos/rfbteaser.wmv
For those of us who wanted a bullpup, but worried about brass ejection.   Also for those of us who like lead.  Lots of lead.

EDIT: find out more from kel-tec at http://www.kel-tec-cnc.com/index.html

Agreed.

That would be a bitch to fire full-auto.

Oh, most definately a pain on full auto.  But, man, that firepower, and compact?  I am willing to put up with the recoil on that thing.

Mod the stock by putting a spring in it, pad the butt and then the recoil will not be too hard to handle.

Nice, but I think the H&K 416 does a much better job.

With that kick you wouldn't want full auto.

That is most likely because it is being made for the civilian market, very few of whom are allowed to legally own a fully automatic firearm.

Still it looks like it has less muzzle rise than an M1A being fired, and that is just a semi auto version of the M14. There may be some issues with the ejection tube getting overfilled on full auto.  MOst likely not, but you never know.  And this was just the teaser video.

Wow but only 20 rounds? The ak has more then that and from the look of it less recoil. Btw 39 or 51 mm?

It would seem annoying to have to point your gun downwards to get the shells out - sometimes 3 came out in one shot.

I can see problems with that ejection mechanism, like if one get stuck the rest get built up etc.

That is true, but if you look around and find the diagram, there is nothing for the empty brass to get stuck on in the tube.  I suppose you could physically jam something in there to keep the shells from falling out, but why?  Yes, it is a new and unusual system, but I see no reason why it cannot work.

Oh, and to answer another persons question, 7.62 x 51mm, a.k.a. .308 calibre.

Looking back. All 7.62x51mm weapons can only have a maximum of 20 rounds or the magazine would be really big. The AK can do 30 rounds because the round is shorter or something. The Bren gun was a gun that had a 30 round magazine with 7.62x51mm (but really .303) but that's why the magazine was on the top because it was huge.

Agreed.  I can't wait to see if the style works out.  Plus, it could always be 'downsized' to a 5.56 if people really want a smaller bullet but more rounds.

Or they could use ak47 type rounds?(7.62 x 39mm)

I've always wondered why that sort of round isn't used more often. I think it's because, even though it has more power than the 5.56, it moves slower and so is less likely to puncture body armour (but better at going through rocks and trees, i dunno...it's all about pressure and momentum me thinks)

Anyone know the major differences/pros/cons between 7.62x39 Russian and 5.56x45 NATO?
