I'm talking about using TEC cooling for other purposes.

Anybody know the life expectancy of standard TEC plates? Do they fail regularly? And what about hooking them up to surfaces other than say ceramic processors? I've got a project that needs consistent cooling, I've got an excellent transfer system, if I can get TEC modules mfr'd in the right

Works well, fairly reliable, not heard of a case where it failed. It is prone to condensation build up though so find a way to remove air moisture or stop moisture getting to it some other way.
