1008$ c2d, 2gb ram, 965p mobo, 8800GTS 320mb,......... there is no way getting any faster for that price.
Steal Vista. Up the CPU to a 6420 and get RAM from a well known manufacturer, dodgy RAM can be a nightmare. A secondary hard drive might be good too.
