Ive just heard about this and so far am loving it - so i thought id share the love. From what i gather Last FM is an online music site where you enter the name of an artist you like and then it will create a station for you - playing the type of related music you indicated you like. Its been pretty spot on for me so far. You dont even have to sign up, and its all free. Literally just type the name and play. You can even purchase songs it recommends.

Oh yeh, Pirates Of the Caribbean 3 Sucks - i knew there was summing else i was gona post....

im not sure if you have done this, but you can download an application as well and attach it to windows media player, itunes, etc. then when you listen to music, it 'scrobbles' the tracks you listen to, put them on your profile and uses them to determine recommendations and neighbors (people with similar music taste).

Tis true, the other Last FM related threads didnt have Last FM in the thread so you would have to search content, and then you will get shit loads where they metion Last FM twice in a thread about something completely different

If it bases it on the type of music you like to hear, it will probably suck. I know this because I tried internet radio with rap and it just gives me all this new shit that isn't even all that good.

First hour was like wtf? One decent fight scene, preceded by 14,000 doube crosses, 999,551 opposing agendas, and 198 scenes that seemed unrelated to the plot. I came out of the cinema dazed.
