BF2 Term Guide

I'm gunna make a guide for most of the words used in BF2 and other FPS related games (for noobs who don't know). Feel free to post new words and descriptions. I will then make one large Guide.

- Spawn Camping: Hiding out by a spawn point and killing everyone who spawns there before they have a chance to do anything.
- N00B: A new person to an online game, who either sucks really badly, or just acts n00bish.
- Whoring: Using a tank, APC, Chopper, or any other vital vehicle for the whole length of the round, and not letting anybody else use it.
- Raping: Just plain kickin' peoples butt on BF2.

The way I've always looked at L337, was that it was short for "elite"...the best. So...when u say someone is L337, u mean they are elite. And as for 0wned...or pwned as alot of ppl do, I read a story about some article that someguy was reviewing a game, and there was a typo with the mispelling of the word own...or somethin like that. But to be owned, figuratively, u belong to someone...and they just had their way with you. Like u a fuckin prostitute, and some pimp just rode the shit outta you...yeah, thats pwnage in my book.

Anyways, these examples are how I veiw those words...just my opinion, not others. Thx.

ok, you cant define a word by using a different form of the same word.

newb is someone new to a game. noob is someone who isnt quite so new, but acts as such.

- Newb: A new person to an online game who sucks quite badly, and makes people angry. Most people will just call them n00bs.
- n00b: Thanks to ThomasMorgan for correcting me. A person who acts like a newb.
- Whoring: Using a tank, APC, Chopper, or any other vital vehicle for the whole length of the round, and not letting anybody else use it.
- Raping: Just plain kickin' peoples butt on BF2.
- L337: As far as we know, means 'Elite', or the best. Look at it closely, you can kinda see the letters.
- Owned (Pwned): Pretty much the same as Raping. The guy is like your dog. You can kill him over and over, it's like you own him.
