I am from Chicago - and I used to pronounce "roof" as "ruff" (like the sound of a dog barking).
Also in Chicago-speak you get: Dis for This, Dat for That, and Da for The.

And while I'm on the written word, it should be "It's", not "Its", because you're using a contraction of the word "it" and "is".
