What about FarCry 2 though? And Crysis 2? Will those run off of mods to the Cryengine2? I hear Farcry2 is like even crazier graphics and effects than Crysis though...
Sigh.. no. The team behind Crysis is the one who originally developed Far Cry. Far Cry was built on the CryEngine.
Now, the rights of Far Cry are left behind at Ubisoft (I think) and they are working on Far Cry 2. On a different engine.
