Upon every reboot, my computer dutifully attempts to launch EA Link; which inevitably results in the message ISScript11.msi, and then crashes to the desktop.

I would not normally care about this, but for the fact that although I have purchased and dowloaded both Armored Fury and Euro Forces, I can no longer play them in multiplayer due to "Unmodified Content" error. Most posts say I need to uninstall everything, and then sequentially re-install each expansion with the 1.41 patch.

HOW CAN I FIX EA LINK TO ENSURE I CAN RE-DOWNLOAD THE INSTALLS?

Make sure it won't run at startup. Run msconfig (Click start button, then run, finally type msconfig into the textfield and it will launch msconfig). Find the startup item "Core" make sure in the command column it says: "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Link\Core.exe" to make your computer stop launching EA Link everytime you restart.

It's true you need to uninstall most times , but if your not cleaning the old Registry keys then we sometimes run in to a problem . SO if you know how to delete the keys , and find them then feel free to stop readin . So click START ,  Then Search tab search in all files and folder. Type in the word REDEDIT let it find it then click on REGEDIT ICON . In there you'll see HKEY USERS , and HKEY LOCAL MACHINE . You will seesoftware tab below bote tabs click on them look for old keys from DICE EA and so on . Make sure you delete the folders from the EA downloader after you uninsatll these keys will still be there after its gone , and that causes problems .  Well hope that helps sorry about the punctuation I just woke up

Which keys am I supposed to delete?

I am not a proficient REGEDIT user.  I have found EA files for Link & BF2 under both the LOCAL USER and LOCAL MACHINE folders.

Thanks in advance for any help.  I miss driving a tank.

Well delete all keys(folders) from ea downloader after its uninstalled you should'nt keep any of the folders under EA DOWNLOADER . Look threw the Dice folder to ,and delete and thing that has to do with expantion packs . Then reinstall ea downloader it should let you redownload the packs . But lose the Ea downloader folder all of it . It doesn't go away with just uninstalling it I know it sucks , but Thank the guys that wrote it.
