Just a question about the type of players out there. I really don't play that much but when i do i have my favorite maps. some people whoop my a@s on a map, then i will look at there stats and that map is all they play. not really a better player just better at that map. opinions???

I play 24/7 wake on one server that I like...
I just join the map I feel interested in. Fushie. kark. sharqui. Whatever.
I play mostly tv 2 servers or my clan server
Know what you mean - I almost always go for the less popular maps these days but many do have people that play a lot of that map and kick your arse.... Also dropping in and out of servers means often on the already loosing side. Makes the stats crap but a lot more fun - imho.

im a recovering karkand whore but every server has it every other map

Takes me ages to load so I stick to 24/7 servers most of the time, mainly karkand.
well rounded.. since I started playing I thought it would be ashame to only be good at one thing

I try for well-rounded, but I hate footslogging and I hate airpower, so I stick to Sharqi and Karkand, and occasionally Jalalabad and Mashtuur.
What I strive to be is a player who doesen't die every 15 seconds. Sadly, I tend to stick my neck out just in time to be sniped, be strafed by choppers, get blasted by tanks, and occasionally flattened by armour reversing over me as I fix it, friendly transports, transports sliding down the hill I park them on onto me, idiots in friendly tanks who don't see my frantic bunnyhopping on the mines as a warning, and the occasional random transport coming out of nowhere.

I play a variety of maps, but not all of them. There's about 4 or 5 maps i play and about 8-9 I would consider playing. The rest there's no chance i'll play.

I play whatever I'm in the mood for. Lately I play Ghost Town IO most of the time. I avoid Karkand and FF off CityMap-Server.

Any map really but I prefer to stick to 24/7's as it saves messing around with loading times all the time. But im well rounded.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, I'm an AT whoring Karkand whore.

It's not about the map so much as the kit I guess...
Personally I play medic and sniper, only 64 player maps IO. That's what I like, that's what I'm good at. Smaller maps are boring and there's no competition. Plus IO is better for everyone to show what they can do.

I'd like to be well-rounded when it comes to BF2.
Unfortunatley I've been medic whoring on Karkand to get to Sgt Major.
I still have Warlord as my favorite map but that's about to change.
