i was a grunt (duh 0311), and really liked what i did, but there isn't many jobs out there for a trained killer. if you join the MARINES or any branch, get a billet that you can turn into a career in the real world.
Be an Air Force Combat Controller! I am and I play with the Army and Marines whenever I deploy. Hell I just got back from Afghanistan with some Marines doing some search and destroy missions along the Pakistani border.
Not what i want to do.
Just gonna be a grunt and that is all
Im still not sure about joining right now in Iraq.

also the thought of who is on your side and who isn't
plus IED'S
I loved the Corps. If you have the drive and determination, you will do just fine.
Hey man, I can tell you that over half the troops in military dont believe in the cause. Its much bigger than you or me. Would you rather be fighting the enemy over there or in your own backyard? I'd rather be there. I'm not saying I believe in the war in Iraq but we're there so lets just get the job done. All of my fellow marines, soldiers, airmen and seaman that have perished in that shithole deserve an honorable ending. Like I said before its much bigger than any one person. Like the Air Force core value states "Service before Self". Everbody gets scared but you'll overcome that eventually, I did.trackstarr wrote:

If you're gon be a grunt, whether you join now or later, you'll still be one of the first to touchdown on any hotspot. I'm Data/Comm Tech, better known as a POG. There's a much lesser risk of anything happen to me because we're not as exposed. And if you're worried about who's on your side... it really shouldn't be a question. It will say U.S. Marines(or Army, Air Force or Navy) on your left chest... that should be answer enough.trackstarr wrote:

Nah like citizens, you not sure if they are gonna pull a bomb on you.
