No, Un-invent the idea that guns are bad. Invent the idea of gun education madatory in school.

You guys want my real oppinion, now some of you may take this harshy, but you wanted it.

I think one of the best things is if we never took blacks from Africa. Then we would have no 100 years of slavery, no constant nagging that "The white man owes eternal reperations", new york city and detroit and compton and all of california, all of miami, would all be a much better place because there would be no gangs in the first place, which means white kids wouldn't have rap music and wouldn't want to be gangsters and act black. I could go on...

*But on a serious note this is a serious thread and that is not meant in any racial way, simply stating my oppinion to the answer of the OP*

Religion was much more respected and prevalent in the past. Go back to when you had cavemen worshipping a rock or some nature god. It's a damn shame that people nowadays have ruined one of what was once a great institution.

Oh, you mean like becoming subservient?  Or, here's a thought...how about we expect as much respect as we give.  I know it's a tough concept, but try.
Isn't Utah the capital of Polgamy here in America?
I'm not sure if it is the capital, but Colorado City, which straddles the Utah/Arizona border is a complete polygamous community.

My Pop once took a six hour train trip with his younger brothers to visit his uncle, and his grandparents dropped him off at the train station.  He was ten.

I used to walk five miles to school from 3rd to 6th grade alone.

And I don't think my kids will be doing any of that, & that blows...

I'd argue that's kind of happening with Globalization.  After all, aren't we proving this daily by arguing politics on the interweb?

Run that by me again?  Sorry to say, but written language, and written documents, both pre-date the Bible by a long ways.

Run that by me again? The images of myth/religion (goddess statuettes, cave paintings, burial sites, etc) predate written language by a long shot, and cuneiform is one the first written languages (or first); that of the Sumerian; and those myths/religion (Sumerian) predate the Bible. The Bible (semtic-Jewish tradition) is merely the inheritor of myth and tradition that preceded it.

And so do cave paintings detailing the lives of tribes and their hunts.  It doesn't mean that written language came about because of religion.

All you religion haters should realize that things are better now a days then they were back in the past. Back then you were EXPECTED to be whatever religion your parents were. Now a day we have the option and Im glad of that. Maybe in the future Ill find my religion.

However the first writings discovered were made by Sumerian religious. Also way back when the religious people were the scientists, astronomers, mathematicians and all that stuff that advanced humanity.
