MX518 is the best quality mouse for the money IMHO.  It's got the same resolution as G5/7, on the fly DPI, and an extra side mouse button.  Plus it's extremely comfortable (although the G5/7 is too).  I've had 12 hours gaming sessions with it without a hand cramp or any discomfort.  I would get the G5/7 if they had the extra side button, that's pretty much the only reason I prefer the MX518.

According to most people here, the G5s are starting to be made with a 2nd thumb button, sort of makes me wish I waited but then I would still be using this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6826104036

Plus, who would've known other than the developers that a 2nd thumb button would be implemented anyway?

Edit: I guess this would also be the reason for the 10$ price jump that I noticed like a week ago.
