If you really think 7 year olds are capable of planning and executing terrorist attacks, you need a reality check. Yes, children can carry weapons and use them. No, it's not their idea. You can throw all the kids in prison that you want, and the people actually responsible for their actions will find more kids to use.

One of these videos has a patrol walking down a street and there's a football ahead and some kid, who looks no more than 5, is shouting for the army guys to kick it back.  The squaddie at the front is about to when the patrol leader shouts a warning.  The obvious conclusion that's to be drawn is that the football might be an IED.
That means nothing. If the football is an IED, do you really believe that the 5 year old is the one responsible for constructing an explosive device, camouflaging it as a football, placing it in the road and waiting for a patrol to come by? Child soldiers are tools of a greater evil, not the actual enemy.

I just thought I'd throw this into the mix, its linked with what you're talking about, but I'll say nothing more.

Wiki Says

Child soldiers have also been used in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. According to the Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers "2004 Global Report on the Use of Child Soldiers", there were at least nine documented suicide attacks involving Palestinian minors between October 2000 and March 2004:[10] "There was no evidence of systematic recruitment of children by Palestinian armed groups. However, children are used as messengers and couriers, and in some cases as fighters and suicide bombers in attacks on Israeli soldiers and civilians. All the main political groups involve children in this way, including Fatah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine."[11] According to Israeli security forces, there have been 229 cases of minors involved in militant activity.

Well think about it, in some Arab or African countries, children as young as four can be seen brandishing and even firing assault rifles.  If they can do that, they are capable of going all  jihad in a crowded market....
These kids you talk off exist in African conflicts not Arab..............yet.

These kids are taken from their families at a young age, some are forced to murder their own family or neighbours to toughen them up. They are fed drugs and beaten and forced to kill. Some are raped too. So tell me, if they are forced to kill, are they not victims themselves? Should they be locked up for the rest of their lives or rehabilitated?
Oh shame on the US for having troops around the world to battle conditions like these. That seven year old detained by the US now has a chance at adulthood when normaly he would be killed or be a killer on the streets.

Thats why its so important to detain the kids. So they are not used as tools.

lol, back in January 06, me, my brother, my dad and my stepmom (who had a muslim last name before my dad and her got married) were taken for "special screening" at JFK Intl Airport in NYC.

While there, we saw them swabbing the stroller of a toddler and the toddler himself for bomb traces. Of course, they looked middle eastern.

If 7 year olds can wield AK-47s in Africa, I'm sure they are capable of being terrorists as well.
