I love that, seeing the team work. As a new pilot its frustrating as hell though. One round I actually had a very pro MEC armor convoy capping flags like crazy one round. Started as 3 tanks, an APC and two FAVs. I would strafe the FAVs, good drivers though, erractic and half way crazy but the armor was was engineering party. They finally managed to get 5 tanks 2 APCs and an AA vehicle. My team kept yelling at me to kill the tanks but at the middle (gas station) flag with the AA vehicle and the AA site I was swearing off the area till my team could mount a responce.Ilocano wrote:

Best K/D round was 20/2 with the AA.
The MEC convoy was good too, they weren't all completely bunched up but easily able to support one another and their commander had dropped some supply crates in their line. Literally [Tank - - - - Tank - - - - Tank - - - - Tank - - - - - Tank] line on the east side of the CP with the two APCs going back and forth down the line and helping with repairs and the AA was a bitch hiding in the CP underneath the overhang or behind the buildings. I finally managed to get both AA's on one pass, come back and strafe the APC's at a tank so it was three targets in very close quarters. The cannon strafe must have hit at least two vehicles because when the bombs went off all three vehicles were blown to bits. So the fight went from 5 tanks + 2 APCs + 2 AA sites vs 3 tanks and an APC to 4 tanks vs 3 tanks and an APC and a jet.
We destroyed their armor line, but lost all the armor, the APC was surprisingly the last to go to a TOW missile. We did manage to get the flag through a FAV rush, but the tickets were so far gone at that point and they regrouped their armor pretty quickly.

For those with Tampa stats showing, please post the IP's or Server Names. The two I've played on have yet to post updates. With my luck, they are probably the fully loaded 64 maps.
I had a great couple of rounds, but of course they didnt get recorded and i havent mustered up the courage to play it again.
My best round is the one in which I got 26 points and a silver medal.

All my rounds on TV2 have been recorded, my best round is 98.
It's fun to armor in that map, because there are so many IO nubs who come there to try the new map, but they have no idea how to use an armor. You can easily get 30 - 0 in a tank if you have a good convoy and play smart.

I have got my vetran engi badge 5 times on this map now and it has rescorded yet so meh. The map is awsome though all you need is 2 guys as engi in tanks and create a fireing order i.e from left to right and your just about invincible. I think my highest score sofar is like 90 ish.
