God doesn't want integration to happen

Ahem.

Let me explain.

A Norwegian far-right politician, Siv Jensen, was quoted saying "Speak Norwegian!" to one of the imams in the capitol of Oslo, meaning that she wanted them to speak Norwegian while they pray. To further the cause of integration, and to enrage the ever inflammable Muslim community, of course.

That got me thinking. Integration is more or less about making people speak the same language, and to get along as human beings (that somehow not meaning to kill each other...?) no matter who they are.

Well...

... tower of Babel anyone?

I swear I'll soon be talking Japanese.

i might be mistaken, but in that story, God created different languages so they could not complete the tower of babel because they were trying to reach the heavens (not acting on the will of God). -i don't really remember, but i seriously doubt that God doesn't want people to integrate.

That's the problem, they're so stubborn. I've heard all sorts of religious prayers in non-native languages. Jewish/Hindu/Christian (christianity should be latin!!1) i've heard all those in plain old English. Nothing wrong with that.

Now you tell me, is Judaism/Hinduism/Bhuddism/Christianity English?

Doesn't matter where you go in the muslim world. Prayer is done in Arabic.
