Story:

I have at the bus centre in town at 15.50 (bus is at 16.10). There is a bus! I go on, check it is my bus and it is! So I get on, and wait - having no idea that the second picture is where I pass everyday. My power was off (I really appreciate power now!) and it took me over 3x longer to get home than usual.

This is very rare because we had several days of intense heat and now this. Quite amazing, this rarely happens!

What did they call it again...

*trys to remember Geography*

That's it, convection rainfall. It was presumably all the heat that you had before that reduced the pressure alot/caused a shitload of air to rise. Thus either cooling down and raining heavily as it rose or allowing some super low pressure thing to swoop in and pwn you n00bs. Or something

Dude, I'm only at Belfast International Airport, and the rain has been really light today, plus it only started this afternoon.  A Couple of rotary flihts have cancelled due to low visibility, but all scheduled and charter flights have gone... Cloud is uber low, and thunderstorms predicted across province.

Didn't realise the weather was that bad only a few miles away...
