Well, this computer my dad chose sucks huge ass. Sure, it can run BF2, but not well. I was thinking, I need a laptop. I looked at the Macbooks, and they seem pretty freakin' good. Then again...they're pricy, and you've gotta get Bootcamp to game a lot. I haven't found a PC laptop that looks really good yet, and they all have fucking Vista. Doesn't Vista suck for gaming because it takes like, a Gig of ram to run or something? I'm kinda leaning towards Mac right now, but what do you think?

mac book pro is pretty much the best portable computer around there, and im strictly anti-mac

and if you want, you can get vista AND OSx to run on it at the same time

QFT. It's got pretty much the newest components out for notebooks at this time. The only thing you'll immediately see that isn't top of the line is the GPU since the 7950 Go beats it in terms of raw power (Should be noted that the 8600m GT in the MBP is by no means a bad GPU in itself. It's actually got decent performance + DX10.), but everything else component wise is top of the line.

Or you can install XP onto a PC notebook. But if you have the money, MBP should be a decent choice.

I hate macs, but if your Buying a Laptop.. Macbooks are the only way you should go, since you shouldn't be using a Laptop to game anyways..

Macbook: My brother owns one and I love it. It is very clean and elegant looking, and is also quite fast (2GHz model). Can boot into windows too.

HPDV6000: My other brother owns one and I love it, too! Again, it looks very nice (Macbook is nicer though) and the 7400 can play Half-Life 2 on high etc.

Both cost around the same! If you want any more information on either, PM me.

If you can run Microsoft OS on Macs, can't you run Mac OS on normal PCs?  You don't have to use vista on Macbooks either from what I've read, you can boot XP on there too.  I don't think it'd really matter which one you get since they both can run the same software, so it's all comes down to what specs you get for your money.

17" MacBook Pro. You shouldn't even consider any other options.
