you can drop cars on the carrier, but you have to be sneaky about it. on the essex, there are two "pads" that stick out, usually occupied by a F35b/Chopper. between the pad and the walkway thing (the one with the rails) is a small space. drop the car right in there, and as soon as it hits the carrier, gun it in reverse.
