Have Democrats gone too LEFT for the Primary Election?  Are they pandering?  Or is this just something that is normal to get the nomination?

What's funny is Hillary is the most 'conservative' of the bunch.

Both parties have shifted to the left in an attempt to distance themselves as well as they can from this administration. If I were to describe it in a political cartoon, a donkey and an elephant would be in bed. The donkey would be clinging to the left side, trying not to fall off, while trying not to be crushed by the sleeping elephant that has rolled over onto his side of the mattress, throwing her dirty looks all the while. It's probably been done, but hey...

Hillary is more conservative than the current president.

Pandering to the left the same as promising change?

In a word, yes.  (At least with Hillary leading)

Then again, it is the Democratic primary.  The average for the primary is going to be more liberal than the average population.

I guess it all depends on your perspective.

Personally, I think America has gone too far in the directions of corporatism, social conservatism, and interventionism.

We need less government on almost all levels, and that includes less warmongering.

I think they have gone too far right in the last 25 years.

Then again, how do you define "left"?

Mmmm...

I've always seen the Dems and the Republicans as right wing. All I see is the same shit, different faces....

I don't like US politics. Here in Australia we have a corrupt "Liberal" Party in government aaaaaaand a Union controlled Labour Party in opposition....

and we never let them forget what fools they make of themselves.
