Man, it's been a long time since I've felt like putting up a rant.
Alright. What is up with this? It seems that the only argument some people (not going to name names) have is "You're a stupid liberal, therefore you are the sole cause of the world's problems and are always wrong." For God's sake, that's essentially saying, "I disagree with you, so you're wrong, and I'm going to shut out all evidence otherwise and repeat this mindless babble over and over until you get exasperated and go away."
Maybe your causes, whatever they may be, would be more effective if you weren't always on crusades against liberalism.
Especially - come to think about it - the causes against whining and "the world's growing wussiness", or whatever the hell's the most recently coined term for it. "OMG mommy get rid of the evil libs destroying de country waa!", last time I checked, qualifies as both. And, yeah, that statement is exaggerated, and, yeah, exaggeration is apparently a staple of the exact group of people I'm talking about (except it's generally stated as somewhat realistic "fact").
Seriously. It's like every single thread you go into, you'll find someone basically going on about since he's not an evil commie liberal, he's uberpatriot Mr. G-Man, defender of liberty and American values, and all who oppose him are said evil communazi terrorist liberals (never mind the USSR collapsing a decade and a half ago), while not even addressing a single argument. Just robotic, trance-inducing "Liberals are bad. Liberals are bad. Liberals are bad." Wonder what would happen if a liberal tried to agree with them. They'd probably just turn their argument right around, forget that they'd ever had another opinion, and go right on bitching about, well, of all things, bitching.
