Here is an excerpt from Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe. Okay so it's satirical but it does raide some srious questions.....

1) Do you think that showing live crime, like on 'Court TV', just serves to glamorise it? Afterall, everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame.

2) How do Americans stay so upbeat when every adverts convinces your one step away from death.

3) Should such an anhorrant subject as paedophilia be used to make an entertainment programme? Surely this morally shakey at best?

Hobby? lol, what the hell? As an american, i can say that i do not watch such reality tv. And yes, I have to agree, some of the stuff that is put on our tv brings moral down, at least thats my opinion.

Oh, and yes, history channel, and discovery are the best

I don't watch much TV. I prefer the internet, especially for news. I'll occasionally watch a show on the History Channel or Comedy Central.

Don't get me started on UK TV, I'm sure it was designed for women, that's why I watch history channel and discovery and such on sky, much better.

Charlie Brooker is quite funny if you get what he is about, and he isn't saying you have no sense of humour he does state that he thinks americans are laid back and relaxed people.
Mind you there is a difference between American and British humour, most funny British comedians don't go very far in America and most funny Americans don't go very far in Britain. Funny old world isn't it.
