Im deciding wether to get a psp or ds.

PSP
Pros
- Has movies
- Memory stick for "downloaded" movies
- Photos
- UMDs have protective cases
- Killer games

Cons
- Weak batt. life
- Big
- Need travel kit for longer road trips
- 50 bux more than DS
- Need protective gear

DS
Pros
- Intuitive Games
- Longer batt. life
- More colors to choose from
- Like the stylus idea

Cons
- No movies for it (unless u count GBA cartrage movies)
- Games arnt as graphicly good
- No good FPS for DS
- Still kinda big
- Lame tiny cartrages
- No memory sticks

Please this is a serious topic. No big "ds is teh suxorz" spamming. I need to know because if i get the PSP i already have 2 games i know im getting for it. Same goes for the DS. Thanks in advance for any advice.

yeah, don't even bother with the handheld stuff.

My GB color w/Pokemon silver is all I'll ever need, but why would you be playing games outside of your house?
either stay inside and play console/PC games, or go outside and do something else, there is no compromise

Well my family goes on long trips a lot plus ive beaten 90% of my games for 360 and comp. I still even play my Gameboy Advanced SP. I just wanna know which of the 2 new systems i should get. Alos if ur wondering im getting Killzone: Liberation and Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters for PSP, or Pokemon: Diamond and Kirby Squeak Squad for DS.

yeah i suppose you dont go out much. there is alot of waiting outside, ever been to the doctors? ever gone on a drive longer then 1hr? even had time between classes but you dont feel like going to the library? ever waited for a train, bus, plane?

PSP is good, you dont need anything to protect it other than a pair of old boxers and ive gotten loads of time out of a battery, its not short at all

id go with the PSP
better games, plus its got that coolness factor

like, when i see ppl playing a PSP somewhere, im like "hummm....cool....i want one...i wonder what game they are playing" and try to see

but when i see someone playing a DS, im like "ehhh....i feel embarrassed for you....." and i try to move away from them

the DS just seems so much more childish IMO

Psp AND Ds...

Psp.. I've been workin on GTA for a year... eh.

Ds... recently beat Resident Evil, got the good ending by saving Chris AND Barry... awesome.

Workin on Mario Kart Ds... but since I bought Tiger Woods for the Wii.... I'll be playing that.

Ahhh... Games.

I have a psp for 7 months now, I love it! my stock battery lasts at least 6 hours while playing a umd game. btw go with the 1gb memory stick, its worth the extra money!

DS all the way. I've played both and I'd take it over a psp any day. I don't see why the movies and music are such a plus for it. I've tried watching movies on it and its not worth it imo. Just buy an iPod video if you want portable movies and music. It's smaller and will hold more. As far as the gaming aspect is concerned i love the stylus and the games for the ds. i guess its all personal preference in the end though...

You could buy a DS and a cheap MP3/4 for the price of a PSP, animal crossing on the DS is pretty good, it steals you life though dammed Tom Nook i should of killed him. anyone who's played an animal crossing game knows what i mean.
